Happy Heart Day. It's all about love. Who's idea was this? I want to kiss them on the lips.
I'm pretty sure that love is our highest calling. Loving well, loving often, and loving deeply. Sounds simple but it is tricky. I think loving well means that we love when it's not easy, we freely share our gifts and talents without grudge, we give when it's not convenient, we look for the best in each other even if we have to dig deep to find it, we choose forgiveness over pay-backs, we live a life that's more about others than it is about ourselves. Whew! Tall order. I need to practice some more.
And since I know some of you will ask, these little hearts hang on the wall in Becca's (triplet number #3) room. She punched the hearts out of paint samples. I stitched them together, attached them to a painted board, and hung them above her beautiful blue bed. I LOVE this blue bed. Why did it take me so long to get around to painting it?
I think that's all I have to say for now.
Hoping that you love well and are loved well today and always.
