Whew! A lot of LIFE has happened since the last time I visited this space.
Over Memorial Day weekend, my honey and I went to San Francisco. We walked the bridge, toured Alcatraz, visited the wharf, drove through wine country, and tried to eat every piece of salt water taffy in the city. And I think we might've done it. We ate A LOT of taffy. In fact, my hind end probably looks like a bag of taffy. Oh well. Cherry is my favorite followed closely by banana, if you are wondering.
We came back from the City by the Bay just in time to celebrate my oldest child's birthday. Nineteen. Yikes!
Later in the week, my little ginger babies had an 8th-grade promotion ceremony.Yay! I survived junior high with triplet girls. I love these girls to pieces but junior high is stupid such a crazy time for girls. We made it unscathed. Hooray and cheers!
A few days ago, we returned from Yellowstone. It was very cold this year. In fact, one day while we were there it snowed ALL day long. We hardly got out of the car that day. Five teenage girls, a mom, and a dad together in a Suburban looking for bears in the snow all day long. It got a little bit snarky. "If I have to stop this car..."
But it wasn't all bad. Look at this picture of the girls in front of the Tetons. Love these girls and love these mountains.
This view never gets old no matter how many times I see it.
That's all for now. I hope your summer is off to a lovely start.
I live just a hop, skip, and a jump away from SF. I'm not sure you would want to be there today though. This is the hottest weekend of the year! I love to visit during the cooler days though. :)

Your girls are beautiful. Protect them! Umm, yeh, my poor hubby has 5 girls (plus me). Someone always has PMS. It's made him a better man.

Thanks for sharing your pictures of your darling daughters. (One of my DILs is the oldest of 5 girls & now she has 2 boys). The pictures also remind me of the camping trips we have taken since I retired. We went to the Golden Gate Bridge last year and to Yellowstone 2 years ago. What a country!

OMGoodness - I just found you through Pinterest! I'm in love - between Flathead Lake (my GG lived in Polson, my grandpa in Arlee & I graduated in Missoula!); the moose at Yellowstone (we did that this summer too) and the craftiness - well, I'll be back often!

Just discovered your blog and had to leave a comment on this great post. Love all the Yellowstone pictures. It's one of our family's favorite places. You are correct in that view of the Grand Tetons is spectacular no matter how many times you've seen it! Your daughters are lovely! I also agree with your thoughts on Junior High ;-)
