Really nice bag! It'd be too easy to say 'you go girl!', but I'll do it anyway.
And I do agree with you on Photoshop Elements. It takes soooo long to do any little thing, and she doesn't help!
Maybe I'll go back to it....

LOVE the picture (and could you teach me how to do that?) Love the Birdie Sling too -- my fav is the one that looks like your pillowcases. You're a birdie sling makin' maniac!!!

Love all of your birdie slings! I made one for my sis in law last year and have fabric picked out for several more. They turn out great!

These are so cute! And I am definitely not sick of that fabric combo. I like it so much that I am going to use that same combo for my pillow case when I get around to it. I hope you take that as a compliment!

I've made two birdie slings. The first was for my daughter, who was expecting at the time. She loves it! The second was while I was at a retreat and needed an instant gratification/fun project.
I quilted mine. Yes, I took the exterior panels and quilted them first. It gave the sling some extra umph. I also quilted the handles. Also, I made some extra pockets inside and up on the handle area a little tiny cell phone pocket.

ALL of your Birdie Slings are Beautiful!!! I really want to make one.
Today Renee, from Sewn With Grace, and I took a class to learn how to make the Messenger Bag. Wow, it takes LOTS of everything. Renee blogged about it today, Check it out if you want...
Anyway, I absolutely LOVE all of your fabric combos!

The picture looks great! Love the bag. I just took a class today on how to make Amy Butler's Messenger bag. I may never recover. 3+ hours just to get everything cut out. Quite the process but her stuff is so cute. You do great work!

Cute bag! We enjoyed a lovely day yesterday then today I guess Mr. Weather didn't like us cause it rained. Enjoy your beautiful spring weather!

Your photo looks great! I love the finish around the edges. And I have the Birdie Sling pattern but haven't made it yet - I've seen it made up at the local (fabulous) fabric shop, but have about 999,999 bags already. Sure is cute, though!

That is very cute! I love your notes to self! haha! What is it with bags? I love them and have wayyyy to many of them!

That is one beautiful bag!

This is so funny, I am actually about to make almost the exact same Birdie Sling as the one that inspired your pillowcase. And your pillowcase inspired my Birdie Sling! After I saw that fabric I had to have it and found it online and ordered some up.

I also made one for my soon-to-be sister-in-law for her birthday last November. If you are interested, here it the link to it:
