Handsome-Hunk-A-Man this is Mama Cas. Do you read me?
Loud and clear Mama Cas. What's your location?
I'm in the three amigos' closet. Deploy troops for a rescue mission.
Rodger that Mama Cas. We're on our way in.
Over and out.
[Cue Indiana Jones' theme song]
Operation P (for Paige, or purge, or some other p-word that I can't think of right now) continues at our house. I've tunneled out from under Paige's bed and blazed a trail into the triplets' closet. I have momentarily taken leave of my mission to tell you about the Amy Butler Bag swap that Suzee hosted. This was my first ever swap. I think it was a success.
Here's what I sent to Marielle in the Netherlands. A bag with a zippered pocket inside. Woohoo!
A matching zippy wallet.
And a few treasures thrown in for good measure. Oops... Forgot to photograph them. Just imagine a cute set of binder clips, some sticky notes, and a matching notebook. Can you see them? Keep trying. They're really cute.
Here's what Kira sent to me. A bag that is the perfect size for all the things a gal might need plus a magazine, too.
A business card holder made from this great tutorial.
And the coolest journal ever. I had to shoosh the girls away from it. Kira is a Stampin' Up gal. I can surely tell. Thanks, Kira.
The only requirement for this bag swap was that the bag had to be made using Amy Butler fabric. Isn't it funny that Kira and I chose Daisy Chain fabric in the same colorway? Must be good stuff.
Well, I'm headed back into the combat zone to complete my mission. Operation P lives on. I'll report back soon.
Until then,
Cassie
I am so glad you love your bag. I almost couldn't give it up. I made one for myself this weekend.

The bags are gorgeous! Nice work, girls. Good luck to you on your dangerous mission. I won't clean my daughter's room for fear of being lost forever beneath a pile of dirty clothes, magazines, empty bottles, and homework. I understand your need for walkie-talkies!

Such a fun swap! Love the fabrics you both used :)

i can't believe you chose the same line of fabric, and the same colors! Great minds think alike!! The accessories are wonderful!
You're cleaning your daughter's room??? My, my, i'm impressed. When i need my kids' rooms cleaned, i usually beg and grovel for THEM to do it. One of these days i might break down... who knows?
i'm off to work on my movie script (aka, do the dishes) - have a fun day!

They're both awesome -- I was reading along thinking the same thing you said -- too funny you both chose the same fabrics. Great minds think alike. Good luck with the operation -- I hope you don't get mud on your boots!
