CORA PAIGE~
Julie at Joy's Hope invited me to participate in an Etsy Launch to raise funds to establish a memorial playground for sweet baby Cora Paige who lost her fight with cancer. She is now cradled in the arms of Jesus. You can read Cora Paige's story here. If you want to be a part of The Cora Playground project, you can click the Cora Paige button in my sidebar. It links directly to all the items that are being sold on Etsy to raise funds.
I love how God can take our ashes and make beauty out of them. So many people are working together to help this family have a tangible reminder of the sweet baby that will forever live in their hearts. It's something beautiful.
To all who mourn, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3
Thank you for this link. So sad, but filled with hope.

Wow. What a sad story. How fleeting life truly is.

It was so wonderful to see this post on your blog, Cassie! My very dear friend here in CO is Aunt to Cora's daddy, so we have been praying for her and following her story closely. Her struggle is over now, but her family has to go on without her here on earth - so we continue to pray! I hope many folks will go on over to Esty and find a little something in order to donate to the playground in her memory! Thanks again for the lovely post!
