I would like to be 'making', but it seems all I have time for is shoveling,
and shoveling,
and shoveling. It snowed without ceasing for TWO days.
By the morning after this picture, Hailey's car had snow up over the tires and the snow plow had created a hard crusty wall of snow on the other side of the car. LOTS of DIGGING OUT this morning.
A few people in my house were very happy about all this snow. School was canceled two days in a row. That is an unheard of event here in Montana. We are winter warriors! Some of us reluctantly. Shhhh.
I think I want to live here instead. I'm pretty sure paper snowflakes are the only ones that fall on this house. You know how I feel about paper snowflakes...
Still digging out~
Cassie
PS~I may or may not have watched a little Downton Abbey yesterday. I'm not saying.

I wish we had some of that down here in northern California! Our mountains have been totally dry! We really need snow and rain!

looks like about the amount of snow we got here in NW Washington...... and my son had the WHOLE WEEK off of school from the weather! Craziness! I don't remember school EVER being off this many days in a row! He doesn't care either of course, he doesn't have to make up the days because he graduates this year. The other grades will have to make up the days though, LOL.

Since you made them, I've been making snowflakes also. Thanks for the idea!
No piles of snow around here; no snow whatsoever this winter but anyhow, a pile like that, 't would never happen, as schools would never have to close because of snow either. Noone even owns a shovel around here;-)
Think I'd love to live in Montana; must be just gorgeous nature over there; Glacier, Yellowstone.... Just unthinkable to me to have such parks on your doorstep.
Bye,
Marian

Here in Utah we have not had nearly the snow we usually get. Instead it is raining and the wind is howling, you don't have to shovel rain :)
Two snowdays in a row are very rare, too bad they need to be made up.
And the beach house? Where do I sign up? I am in desperate need of an ocean fix!

Oh, are you sick of it? Send it to me!!! Please! I love it! ♥
Maybe we get some colder weather after the next weekend and I'm at the point of taking it up in my prayers... Nah, kidding! But I would love a bit of Winter!!! :)

Oh you lucky girl! I wouldn't trade anything to live in that last picture instead of the first one. Put your snowsuit on and go play in the snow! (And do you like Downton Abbey?)

Got to say this makes me want to mix up some hot chocolate and wrap up under a nice warm blanket. BRRRRRRRRR.....We've had our share of snow here and I'm pretty sure we're going to get more before the seasons over. Good time to just stay close to the fire.

Here, in Tennessee, they cancel school even if they THINK there is going to be snow. It blows my mind. We used to live in Maine and, like Montana, they rarely canceled school, snow or not. My biggest problem with winter was not the snow, it was the oncoming darkness at 3 in the afternoon - that killed me. At least you have power and can watch Downton Abbey - I loved it. They say they have been approved for a second season. Yay! Have you seen the movie Bright Star? If you haven't yet, see it, like Downton Abbey you will love it. Hope you don't lose a kid in the snow - or a little kitty. I wouldn't decline a visit to the tropics, if anyone were to ask. Carolina
